I put a different set of wheels and tires on my truck with a set of TPMS sensors already installed. I tried the procedure for the sensor relearn listed in the owners manual and it did not work. There is actually a different procedure that requires pressing the brake pedal and cycling the ignition in a certain sequence with the use of a tool the wakes the TPMS wheels sensors.
I purchased the following tool and it worked perfect after following the directions that come with it.
