New times, Dam I love this car. Predator seems to work at track.

Well I went to the Wesday night drags tonight at Sacramento to test out my new mods. In my sig you will see my stock times. Since then I added a Steeda CAI, Flowmaster Catback, and the performance tune with the Diablo Predator. Also I am still runing the stock tires. And the car was at full weight minus the spare tire with a 1/2 tank of gas.

First run temp was around 82 degrees.
2.03 60'
1/8 8.193 at 89.59 mph
1/4 12.511 at 114.59 mph :thumbsup: (I was shocked it ran so well.)

2nd run temp dropped to low 70's.
2.129 60'
1/8 8.285 at 90.002 mph
1/4 12.576 at 115.132 (Car picked up power but lost time in my 60')

3rd run temp was at high 60's
2.133 60'
1/8 8.254 at 90.007
1/4 12.570 at 114.856 mph. (Stupid 60' )

I wish I had the 2.0 60' in the cold temp. I think I would have been in the 12.4 to 12.3 range. I am very pleased at how fast my car went with basically a filter, a generice tune, and cat back. I was also runing faster than both of the Z06's at the track. One was runing consistant 12.6 to 12.7's and the other was in the 12.9 to 12.8 range. What a good night. My old camaro and vet buddies where impressed with how fast my car is going for so cheap. Cant wait for my pulley to get here.

Holy shit that is awesome bro!!! Gaining 5 mph with just a tune! Wish I would have know you were out there! Hey next time you come out PM or email me,,,I would like to see your car. Never seen a sonic blue 03 in person. I went to Sac Raceway on saturday and there were 4 03's all trapping 109-110 stock down the the paper filter. I really wish I had the balls to run my car but I really dont want to pay the bill for broken halfshafts right now LOL. You still running stock tires??

How was the track prep? Were you on the stock tires? Is Sac starting to cool down now? I gotta get out there before winter rolls in. Nice mph.:beer:

Track prep was non existant very slippery. Yes I am on the stock tires. And it is starting to cool off. I am not worried about the half shafts at all as I am getting no wheel hop. I dont dump the clutch. I slip it so I have no tire spin or wheel hop. It works good but burns up clutches pretty quick.

We have a track day 10-4-03 and I hope the weather is good. I want to get some "pulley" tune times.

And people say the Flowmaster catback hurts these cars???:shrug: Great ET's and especially mph's you have a good running car.
