Stiff springs to me would be H&R Race or Super Race springs. The rear feels more settled, I don't have to wait on the rear to roll around before the car reacts.. I was running 44 PSI on the BFG's at the autocross courses, and reading the sidewall it wanted more, I just didn't feel comfortable passing the marked max pressure from the sidewall. I don't have the rears yet and I am interested to see how much different the car reacts with just the tire change.. the rest of my setup is identical now to my last autocross, but tomorrow's course is an airstrip that's smoother than last time and is likely to have some higher speed sections.

Haven driven many cars with 555R's, these are like them on steroids!

DVJ38: Do you have a panhard bar? I'm still using my "archaic" HPM Megabite Jr's in the back (they've been on the car since 2000!) and a set of Steeda DA uppers with poly bushings in them..
They are 10.5's. I bought them back in 05 off E-bay, they are from OE Wheels LLC. They still have an Ebay store, but the non-dish R's are hard to find in 10.5"/9" staggered like mine :( I used to catch hell for a played-out wheel but now they've become unique it seems LOL I had BFG G-Force T/A Drag Radial II's (old tread pattern) like these: Tire Details - Discount Tire before the NT05R's. Same size 315/35-17, but the BFG's looked a bit wider on the wheel. For what it's worth here's an older pic with the BFG's.. they dwarfed any other 315 I ever saw, and looked to be wider than most 325's as well lol.. Initial impression is a bit more squirm than the BFG BUT the sidewall was tons thicker, I'm pretty sure I'm feeling the squirm from the huge tread blocks and the fact that they haven't heat cycled much yet. Honestly the car feels like it rotates under throttle better (no this doesn't mean sliding..). We'll really find out tomorrow at around 11am :) FWIW to me stiffer is better.. to a point. Haven driven many cars with 555R's, these are like them on steroids! DVJ38: Do you have a panhard bar?
