New race car. 721 HP
Here is a video of my girlfriend's dad's race car that I have been helping him work on whenever I'm home from school. Sorry, he is a Chevy guy. We got it running the last time I was home and got a quick video on my girlfriends iphone. The car is a caged, tubbed and gutted 1980 Malibu with a Dart 420 Sportsman block bored to 421 c.i., 13.0:1 compression, Dominator carb and Turbo 400 trans. On the engine dyno it made 721hp with a smaller set of headers. Right now it should be capable of low 9's. After we make a few passes it's getting a 250 shot of nitrous to hit the 8's and possibly dished pistons and twin turbos in the future. Have a few more odds and ends to finish up before its done but I'll have some track videos up as soon as we get it out there. Hope you enjoy!
