Good. People use the "it's smack down" excuse too often just to sling insults instead of actually discussing the issue.

I've noticed in the pop ups there is now political advertisement. I believe its regarding Trump and immigration and requesting donations. Whether one supported Trump or Hillary how do Political adds have irrelevancy on a car forums website?

I'll leave it to the site owner to address your concerns directly, but I think you may have some type of adware or malware running on your computer. Far as I can tell, there are zero pop-ups from this forum and there are zero advertisers that are not paid supporters.

Like I said, the owned can confirm... but I think its your system, not this site.

    Sounds good.

One exception: there are a few talented guys who pick the perfect time to call out guys from Canada and call them "Canadian" in a way that makes it seem like a stinging insult. Done right, it's hilarious, completely appropriate and often adds to the debate in a meaningful way. It would be a shame to lose that.

Ha ha. Hard to believe this was a thread back then. Did it work?

Hope not! I was looking through 'New Posts' and hit a button that somehow took me to the old thread. It was pretty funny, considering some of the comments that are thrown around and some of the pretty colorful language that gets out there.

After reading it I have to admit I was pretty curious as to what was going on back then that made the rule necessary. Sounds like interesting times.

Last post on this ancient one. Don't want to take a penalty. Thanks.
