I ran a 1:27.9XX at summit last year on the old pavement and with brake issues. One of our drivers crashed the car in turn 1 from the brake problem. We haven't been on track since. Been a frustrating battle figuring out the brake problems. Pretty sure we're all sorted out and are using the NASA weekend for a test session before winter sets in.
