If you paint. It will chip. I have black on now, and it was a powder coated finish and it's all chipped up. I'm going back to mill finished I had on before.

Snow...

I pulled the car out of the garage to put up some new light fixtures, and the snow hit a little sooner than anticipated.

I love the way my heat exchanger looks, I would hate to cover it up... When people see it they all think its an intercooler!

do ya'll have it mounted flush against the backside of the bumper or is it inbetween the bumper and the H/E? i am doing mine tommorrow but can't tell from the pics

The screen looks ok but what is up with that front plate?

between bumper and Heat exchanger. There are four bolts on the front of the HE that bolt it to the frame. Remove the bolts, I only did two. Place the screen on, and put bolts back in.

I really like it. Great for those not upgrading their HEs from an appearance standpoint. Very neatly done!

Believe me I didnt want to cover mine up either but those fins are so flemsy. Just a few rocks and could look like crap!

It's very easy to do. If I get some time this weekend, I'll take pictures of how I made mine and the installation process. There's not a lot to it, but I'll post some steps anyway.
