New idler pulley is thinner then stock

I ordered this part from summit racing to replace my three idler pulleys, but the new part is thinner then the stock. The belt covers the pulley with a pubic hair hanging off the back. Is this ok?

I wouldn't run it. Belts move as they run. You don't want it running off the back. That turns the pulley into a razor blade.

My guess is they sent you the pulley for the inner belt.
