What size lines are those in the kit? 10 or 12AN?

In that picture above, the block adaptor looks like it would contact the exhaust manifold, is a header required?

This works on the 5.8L block as well?

-10 lines are included, the kit does not touch or come near the exhaust manifold and it works on all 5.4/5.8 GT500 blocks.

In March of 2015 I (among others) asked about pictures of this installed *anywhere* on a GT500 and over 5 year after you posted it here, not a single picture of this oil cool kit in use showed up on this forum or on your site. I can't be alone in not understanding why you don't have any pics of any install of this product in use on your site or in this thread that you keep "bumping". It's like you're reminding people that you're not addressing what multiple posters have asked for- pictures of your product in use somewhere/anywhere on a GT500. Actually- nobody has come back to this forum and said they've installed one either that I've seen.

Saying "there are too many install options to show them all" seems weak. All this community is asking for is one example. This isn't something like a hood lift kit- it involves the vital oil going through our engines.

This is probably one of the best sales prevention tools around. Let us advocate for you- bust out a camera phone and help us give you money.

The MMR GT500 oil cooler kit replaces the entire factory cooler/alternator bracket assembly with a lightweight, high efficiency air/oil cooler. This drastically reduces coolant temperatures increasing detonation resistance allowing for more boost, more power and ultimately lower oil temps for better reliability and engine life. Great For those Turbo applications where removal of the factory bracket/cooler gives more clearance for custom headers etc. Highly recommended for ALL modified GT500's and Mandatory for Road Racing and Texas Mile type events. Includes all parts needed along with high quality braided stainless steel lines and AN fittings along with new MMR Billet Alternator bracket and Billet block adapter. Also includes new HIGHER capacity oil filter. 100% USA MADE

Any reason you don't use the FRPP FILTER over the FRAM? Isn't the FRPP filter the best all around filter out there? As far as flow and capacity and filtering go. Also it has other benefits other filters do not. Just wondering? Also, can the FRPP filter be used? My guess is yes but I figured I'd ask.

I bought this oil cooler kit for my GT500 swap 06 GT, the factory one was damaged so thought this was a good option. While installing the alternator, I snapped the alt case in half because the alternator is hitting the new oil cool plate that attaches where the factory one went, so I just purchased a new alternator and tried to install again and now I see why it snapped. No clearance. Will take pictures tomorrow and post them up, only thing I can think of is modify/grind on my new 300 dollar alternator... called MMR, and they need pictures to see what's going on, will know more info Monday. Also this kit comes with no instructions, so imagination is definitely needed.

Ok so in the first spot it was hitting, I swapped the bolts they gave me with a flush style Allen head bolt (not sure correct term) But since the oil cooler plate is not designed for those flush style bolts, it doesnt sit flush and still hits alternator... well I ended up grinding on that spot and now we are clear there..

However still having issues getting new alternator installed, doesn't seem to want to sit flush, the alternator seems to be hitting in another spot, really don't want to grind more on this alternator to make it fit, so I added washers to space it out. Not very happy with this solution either, because now my belt is too short...

Thanks for being the guinea pig on this one man. It appears that even though several asked for some kind of installation photos or instructions that MMR just plain didn't have any of either.

I hope you get it worked out. In my experience things do need to be "massaged" sometimes to fit, but no instructions is pretty lame IMHO.
