Pretty darn impressive. Do the 2010's have more power than the previous GT500's?

540HP out of the box, and the coupes have been rolled back to the 3800 lbs range. Still a piggy but only a tad heavier than the terminator.

The article states many times how much more refined this GT500 and the suspension has been redesigned and apparently it is doing wonders at the track. I had to drive the wheels off my car to get it in the 11.70s.

I had my 2010 Dynoed as a base line and its pushing 470. That was with 95' and about 100% humidity.

That is pretty impressive. That is on par for mid to low 12's for regular drivers at typical tracks.

They're underrated. The 2010 puts down about 510 stock. The thing that suprised me the most is Ford actually cut the weight down to acceptable levels.

Well I have yet to hear any stock 2010 making over 500 to the rear.

Mine made 470 with 300 miles.
so if you add 15% loss for drive train your looking right around 540 to the crank.

i just read up on them and all that has changed motor wise from the previous model is a CAI and tune, which most people do right away any way. still impressive for such a heavy car.
