New gauge pod?

These popped up in my Instagram feed and thought they were interesting. They might be a new option for someone looking for gauge pods. I'm curious about how strong the part that clips into the dash is.

That's my assumption as well. I've done it with a Roush gauge pod in an S197. Not going crazy with the drill size and using a grommet keeps the air flowing as it should.

I really like that setup. If I was looking into adding any more gauges I would for sure look at going this route vs the pillar.

Pretty cool actually. I’m not sure that little vent can hold up two gauges though.

I would order it and test it but the seller has pretty poor feedback rating at 91%…I’ll save my money.

being 3d printed like that seems like the grip would be pretty questionable, especially given the finish quality and the rear and underside

If it's made so the gauges actually rest on the dash then the grip would just be to keep it from sliding around. That shouldn't need much.

Maybe someone will come out with a carbon fiber version. Stuff like this makes me wish I was talented.

I believe that is due to it being 3D printed they just chose to not sand them down.
