New gauge pod?

These popped up in my Instagram feed and thought they were interesting. They might be a new option for someone looking for gauge pods. I'm curious about how strong the part that clips into the dash is.

interesting. Guess you gotta drill the ac duct to run the wiring.
That's my assumption as well. I've done it with a Roush gauge pod in an S197. Not going crazy with the drill size and using a grommet keeps the air flowing as it should.

If it's made so the gauges actually rest on the dash then the grip would just be to keep it from sliding around. That shouldn't need much.

Maybe someone will come out with a carbon fiber version. Stuff like this makes me wish I was talented.
