Originally, when I started building my 04 Mustang, the plan was to swap in a 351 Windsor, but then I found a wrecked GT and swapped in the 4.6 instead. My initial measurements looked like the 351 pan and all would fit pretty well, but I never got as far as actually sliding one into the engine room. On my hot rod, I am running a rear sump Bronco oil pan instead of the front sump stock Ford pan, and I thought I could go that route if needed. I guess some people have done the swap, so maybe a little internet searching will turn up some info.
