No you dont. If you have non HID headlamps like I have you can order these bulbs but you do have to be cautious on the install. Pay particular attention on how the OEM bulb comes out, believe you rotate it counter clockwise about a 1/4 to a 1/3 turn and it pulls out rather easily. The new bulb goes into the same slots but you have to work it a bit for it to get flush before you can turn it clockwise. Make sure you only turn the housing because the bulb will turn within the housing and will go futher than its suppose to. In other words once the housing is locked in place when you plug it into the headlamp and rotate it clockwise, the new housing will stop turning as does the OEM bulb, but the new bulb can rotate within the housing and you dont want that. The bulb power cord should be facing down at the 6 oclock position. Once you get the new bulbs in, the other problem i had is the electrical connectors werent totally lined up perfectly. I tried to force it and almost pushed out one of the OEM female connectors from the housing. I ended up looking at the alignment and moved the bulb male connectors slightly up. Lastly, the snap tabs that holds the two pieces together and preventing them from coming out dont work well with the aftermarket bulb connector. OEM is fine but not these bulbs. I broke one of the lock snap tabs and the other tab just wouldnt lock in place, so I zip tied them so they wouldnt come undone. Now you might ask why did I go through so much aggravation. I love the color match between the diode dynamic fog light bulb and the headlamp bulbs. The low beam is excellent and the high beam as I have witnessed with other aftermarket products is pretty dam high and not sure yet how useful they will be Zip ties keeping the connection secure Bulb going into headlamp(note LED wiring coming out from bottom of bulb)
