Had an 04 E55 and is in my top 5 of the 30+ cars I've owned. Glad I had a CPO warranty on it though.

Good pick up! If they haven't been changed, be prepared to replace the air springs. Suspension will go bad, just a matter of when. I only had one spring go bad.
Also, make sure the crank position sensor was replaced at one point. This affects every M113, AMG or not, and will require a tow. It's a cheap fix though.

Airmatic, especially the rear. Have to drop rear subframe to change them. And the pulley on the SC can get very expensive to replace, $1200 or so. It's a clutch style pulley. Motors and trans are pretty bulletproof.
