Hi gang,

Well the tesla has left the building and my new daily is a bmw i8. made a nice chunk flipping the model y and hope to do the same with the i8. it's a 2015 with only 30k...drove it for about an hour yesterday as it had been what the dealer calls "tastefully modded" but perhaps my taste buds just are not the same as they used to be...lol. The mods are:

-Full Ceramic Coating
-Escort 360 CI built in Radar Detector
-Fi Exhaust (Valved)
-Starlight Headliner
-H&R Springs Lowering Kit
-TopCar Full Body Kit
-Custom Huracan Wing
-Carbon Steering Wheel
-Fully Tinted

The car drives fantastic, even with the lowering springs and big rims. I was skeptical going in because normally the lowered cars drive like crap, especially a car that is low in the first place but it rides nice. I have no idea if it's tuned but in sport mode with the exhaust it sounds fantastic...hard to believe it has a wimpy 3 cylinder in it but the car is respectfully fast. Inside the cabin the car feels still ahead of it's time. A fully digital dash that changes for each mode, starlight headliner (which is actually kinda neat, the kids love it...lol).

The body kit leaves something to be desired, it def looks good but could have been installed more professionally in my opinion. I will be looking into tightening some of the little quirks up as long as it's cost effective.

1 minor accident on the carfax from the original owner a few years ago but that didn't deter me considering the deal I got. Car stickered for 148k and i got it for less than half of that. anyways here are some pics...pretty neat concept but with the way the ev world is evolving i can see why bimmer stopped making them.

That’s a car I’ve never looked for some reason. I always thought they could’ve done a better drivetrain. I know a guy with a crazy viper that just got an i8 for his wife. She loves it and he even gave it some credit.

Very good looking car and congrats on the deal! Amazing what they can do with 3 or 4 cylinders.

What's the deal with the steering wheel finish? It looks like a black marble or granite finish imitation?
