Greetings SVT folks, as a previous GT500 owner that went to a Vette I’m now back in a ‘12 BOSS in competition red. Very happy with the car so far, but have some questions, this one came with a Roush supercharger, with 81mm pulley, and Kooks 1 7/8” long tubes into factory exhaust.
I’m looking to add a boost gauge, any suggestions on a vacuum/boost source to “T” into?
As of now I’m running the tune it had in it, but plan on making an appointment to get a Lund remote tune. It runs very strong, but I preferred the Lund tunes driving characteristics in the GT500 I owned previously.
I know aftermarket clutch and shifter are recommended, and will look into it.
I also will be adding a catch can, and noticed the oil recommendations are 5-50....that doesn’t sound like it would be conducive to cold weather operation?
