Well, after putting in the solid axle and 4.10's I knew I would improve my time of 12.2, which was at a half decent track on a BFG DR.

My 28x12.5 Hoosier QTP's have not arrived so I borrowed a set of 17" ET Streets on 03 Cobra wheels, and had a Moroso DS-2 Skinny on the front end.

Friday night was my first time on this combo, and believe it or not my first time on a "slick"...the air was cool but the car was still warm after a 20min cool down (drove 1hr to the track, which is our GOOD track).

Friday night, first pass I launched at 4000, cut a 1.69 60ft and ran a 11.3 @ 120mph. By the time I got around for another pass the track was closed. Although I did not get in as many runs as I wanted to, I was happy with the results but KNEW it had more in it.

I decided to go back Saturday night after work to see what I could squeeze out of her. I let the car cool down for about an hour, with the IC pump running with ice in the res. to keep it cool.

First pass I launched at 4800, cut a 1.735 60ft and ran a 11.760 @ 126.95. I decided to hot lap and see what she could do. I did a nice long burnout, lined the car up perfectly launching at 5000 cutting a 1.59 60ft giving me a 11.162 @ 121.50mph . I ran 7.189 @ 93.24 in the 1/8th.

All in all I am happy as this was my second day on slicks (3rd pass ever) and a new combo for me with the rear suspension. I know the car has more in it and hope for at least a 10.99 on the bigger tires.

Wow. Nicew times. I can not believe that just by switching to a solid axle gives that much. Makes me think twice about it. Great times. You will be in the 10's before you know it.

im curious to know the rest of the slip on the 11.1@121 run. I trapped 121 as well, but was at 96.01 mph in the 1/8. You picked up alot of MPH in the second half, must be the extra power/ whipple doing its job.

Have a dyno graph handy you can post?
