We've been wanting to add a third dog to the mix but had to wait until we got the new house (which reminds me I need to post that up eventually too). We tried to adopt a dog a couple of months ago but he was too alpha for my alpha male. This time we decided to play it safe and get a female puppy since it would be more submissive. My wife follows several local rescue groups on FB and sent me a link to a dog she was looking at on one of their websites. I ended up finding a different one on there and it was love at first sight. I had to have her. They had just posted her that day on the website and on their FB page and already had 70 comments and people filling out applications wanting her. Luckily we had already been in touch with them before and they had our info. Turns out we were second in line and the first in line couldn't keep her because their current dog was too aggressive towards her. Unlucky for them but lucky for us! We picked her up yesterday. 12 week old American Bulldog mix, Graycie. She's awesome!
