Awesome rides!! My wife just got a regular Focus loaded out and loves it! I pushed for the ST we just couldn't justify the extra cost. Me personally I'd love to have one for a DD! GLWS!

Yes.

Long story short, it's a lot easier for a dealer to show selling it for a different price if you are trading, rather than just buying outright. If I valued your trade at $10,000, I could show you that I'm giving you $8,000 for your trade and therefore selling you the car for $2,000 under invoice.

I would entertain trades if anyone is interested, but I'm not wanting to make a lot of money off of a member on this site.

no i wasnt trading anything in.... most dealers give you the same price weather you trade something in or not... if your cars worth under lets say 5,000.

Yes, if he sells his Focus outright he will be able to get more for it. A lot of people just trade because it's less of a hassle than selling it by yourself and there is never a period when you're without a car.

Taxes are based off the trade difference, so yes if the trade is valued higher, then the taxes will be less.
