Thanks guys for reading this...Last week thurs I was on the way home in my 04 cobra...when I shifted into 3rd gear my clutch cable broke and the clutch fell to the floor. I had the car towed to the nearest ford dealership. Now last summer I had a UPR quadrant cable and adjuster put in at Kurgan. So Im trying to figure out why it snapped? I also have a centerforce clutch DF. Ford called me 3 days later and told me it was fixed...I then picked it up and 8 miles later it broke again and I was stranded on the highway. Had to have it towed back to ford in which they paid for the towing this time.. Turns out they put a factory stock cable in there and told me there was no guaranty that it was going to last. Needless to say they are now telling me its the pressure plate...could this be true? They are now saying it could be 4 or 5 hours of labor..any suggestions on what brand pressure plate if they are right? Thanks I really appreciate any opinions
