Hello everyone i have had my mustang at a shop now for over a year, all it needed was a rebuilt engine. Every time i contact the shop and ask for photos of progess the owner/ mechanic gives me the run around. I havnt had a single photo sent to me, when i told him i would swing by he said the shop isnt open to the public i need to make a appointment which is 3-4 months away. Im so tired of dealing with this shop and i have bo clue what to do...worst part is i already paid for everthing ahead of time. What options do i have? Do i have to get the law involved? Do i speak to a lawyer? Please help me anyone

What state is the shop located? If you are in CA I can give you resources.

Otherwise google: Bureau of Automotive Repair in your state. Almost every state will have some sort of consumer help for auto repair to deal with fraud. This will cost you less than a lawyer. But you still might need a layer in addition to this.
