So I purchased a set of Saleen reps in silver, 18x9 and 18x10's for my '03 Cobra. I'm looking to buy some tires, but I'm not 100% sure which ones or even where to buy. The vendor is offering Nexen N3000 245/40/18 fronts and 275/35/18 rears for $540 plus shipping. I think I'm going to have to pass on these.

I'm not familiar with this brand and actually wanted to go a little wider. Maybe a 295/35 rear and something that will match nicely up front?? The car will mostly see street with some occasional track.

One SVTP member recommended 295/35R18 rear and 265/35R18 rears. Thoughts on this combo?

The car is mostly stock at the moment. I have bunch of suspension parts including a set of brakes that I have collected over the past year to install if that makes any difference.

-Maximum Motorsports Coil-Overs for the front and rear
-Maximum Motorsports Tubular A-Arms
-Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber Plates
-Steeda Bump Steer Kit
-Stage 3 Motorsports Roush/Alcon 14" front and 13" rear brakes.

I'm looking for some feedback from those who upgraded their wheels/tires with a similar setup.

Thanks!

-Tom

I am running that 265/35/18 front and 295/35/18 rear combo on my 03.

I ran 265/35/18 BFG KDW2s up front and 295/35/18 BFG DRs in the rear on my old Bullitt:

Very nice! What kind of wheels do you have there? How did you like the KDW2s? How did the car track with this wheel combo? Was it all over the road, or did it have good street manners?
