I need help with my '96 cobra, hoping some Terminators can relate to the alternator upgrade.
**-I replaced my alternator with a 200amp unit & 4 gauge wire & in-line fuse. Hooked up the alternator with the factory wire and the 4 gauge wire on top terminal post. Ran 4 ga wire to fuse block terminal post.
-Now the car starts right up smoothly, as soon as idle comes down to 900 it stalls. Fires right up and then dies, if i give it gas it dies quicker.
-I tested the battery, exposed all the vacuum lines & no breaks.
I am lost. Any help please.
