I have swapped the engine, trans etc into my 91 coupe.
I need help with the transmission .
The problem is with second gear.
I can not shift from 1st to 2nd , nor 3rd to 2nd .
With the engine running , I can select 2nd and the car does move , and trans makes no noises. If I try to up shift from first or down shift the trans. locks up in neutral and I have to fight the gear shift to get it back into another gear.
So essentially I can drive the car , just can not shift to 2nd .
I know I will have to remove the trans to make what ever repair is needed, but I would like to have a decent exploded view of the parts and possible a part number call out to identify what part(or parts) I will need to replace.
I would like to have the parts on hand when I pull the trans. so I can repair it and have it back in asap.
Do any of you have any experience with rebuilding these , and do any of you have any junk 3650's I may be able to buy the needed part(s) with out having to buy the entire trans ?
