I have a guy that has a Mustang that is a JAP Export Mustang that was brought back to the USA 1997 4.6. Is it worth anything extra because its an export that came back. It has a weird body kit factory and a ugly purple paint and the rear lights have yellow for the blinker area. Is this anything special?

Yes this sounds all correct! 96-97 had the deep purple factory paint. The fender flares and amber tail lights are unique to export mustangs only. These are rare parts and are worth some good $$$. I would buy it bc it is rare and hard to find. The instrument cluster is in km not mph so it would take some getting use too. Deff a good find!
I would think any 97 4.6 GT in good shape with reasonable miles is worth $3000. It's all about the condition. Did you look up the bb value?
