Need help deprogramming a key

Hey guys, I purchased one of those eBay flip keys for my 14 and it ended up not linking with the transponder to start the car. However, I was able to program the fob, so lock/unlock/trunk/panic worked on it. Is there a way to deprogram the fob so I can send it back to the seller?

How much did you possibly pay for an ebay flip key? $30ish? destroy it an move on, better than leaving the possibility of someone getting into your car.

Yeahh after seeing the method Chris shared it seems like it's easier to just hang onto it. I thought the method to deprogram would be as easy as the initial programming. Appreciate the input and help guys

Ended up keeping that original key. I got this one that worked with my 14, same style too. Here's a link if anyone else wants to use the key aswell.
