I had the opportunity to run the Nashville Superspeedway infield course this past weekend. After all the talk about the transitions from the oval to the road course, it had me concerned, since I have some rub in the front from the car being lowered. It didn't become an issue, and I had an absolute blast. A short track, but very busy, with the ability to get good speed in the front and back straight. First opportunity to see how the diff cooler would do out back with no fans, and I was please. Temp got to 210 and stayed there with the pump running. Never hotter, never cooler. I think that works out just fine. The urethane IRS bushings combined with the Torsen diff are a definite necessity. I was very surprised how noticeable the difference was under heavy braking (no more rear end dancing) and accelerating through corners. Highly recommended. A big plus for the weekend, Dean made it down and we had the opportunity to "mix it up" a bit for a session. Now I know why Dean, Brian, and Kevin have had so much fun running in the same group at Road America. It was a blast, and that one session made the whole weekend worth it for me. All in all, I ran 8 sessions friday (you could only take passengers in the novice "no pass" group, but they allowed you to drop down and run that group with a passenger) and 6 or 7 Friday. Dean had a bit of trouble, we left early both days. Awesome event overall, you guys ought to come up for the next one. Unreal the amount of track time for 130 a day. While I didn't get any pics, there were a few people out there taking some shots. This from a Corner Worker in turn 10, the out of what I called the "chicane" all weekend. The black car just behind Dean is me, what a fun session. Kevin knows this corner well......hehehe. Steve
