mocked up what im thinking for the rear section. Diff brace mixed with 3in pipes doesn't give me the nice level pipe look of the rear bumper view but oh well, rather have more flow.

Going to have v bands for the axel back section and a v band at the front where it goes to oval.

Goal to have 4 total sections:
down pipe
mid pipe (k member to axel bac)
left axel back
right axel back

After its all mocked up I am going to fit in a cut out or loud valve.

Yeah, that’s not a good match on the pipes. How much welding experience do you have? I hope either the supplier will replace the damaged pieces, or you’ll be able to fix it yourself.

cut, tacked, repeat.

off to a good start. Had to trim some of the radiator fan shroud but was able to fit a 4in Vband there to make it easy to drop the front section or remove the upper section of the downpipe.

Lots of work still needed to get the rest of the exhaust done but happy for the first 4 hrs of progress.

emotionally the DP has haha.

Welding is a great skill to learn. I encourage everyone to work in the trades and learn a skill that is applicable in life.

I can do electrical, hvac, building automation, plumbing, mechanical, and welding. Dont do any of it for a living anymore but its great to have the knowledge for hobbies and teaching. I have my kids help as much as their willing (8yo amd 5yo), but they will learn mechanics, welding, and eletrical before high school is over.
That downpipe looks like its been through some shit, lol.

Just busting your balls. I want to learn how to weld to be able to do exactly what you are doing.

all the way back to the trans. Need to make the Y pipe woth bellows and V bands to tie into the axel back pipes.

getting to the end of this aargon tank and hoping I cam get everything tacked before the refill since the back purge on the mid pipe will eat majority of the next tank.

The pie cuts fitment has been labor intensive since the pie cuts and straight pipe dont match 100%. Oval is also jist labor intensive for fitment.
