had some ups and downs over the last few months where the car would cut and sputter during pulls. couldn't get any smooth pulls or digs in. start losing coolant and couldn't find it. feared the worst, so start with some maintenance.

plugs looked great for 2 years and about 6k miles. Change fuel filter cuase current one was about 5 years old.

Decided to check intercooler to find some water build up, but it wasn't green like my coolant. hooked up the intercooler to my garden house and left it overnight at 52psi (city pressure). had no leaks the following morning so decided to send it.

-swaped plugs and gapped to .020 and put a new fuel filter in.

Coolant pressure cap housing was plastic, so I swapped for a metal one and haven't lost coolant yet!

The sputtering issue was due to the N2MB box going back to default settings. Adjusted the throttle voltage and 2 steps, which fixed the sputtering issue. Cars back on the road and making some noise.

Today marks 4 years and 6000 miles on the turbo build. Went from 780hp to 950whp, still on stock motor, only had to replace input shaft haha. Love this car, daily drives great, I've taken it on a 1200 mile round trip drive in California and had zero issues. I would recommend turbo to anyone.!

Been enjoying the car and getting it ready for Fox Fest in Michigan. Anyone going to that show?

prepping g the car for the drive and getting a stereo back in it. I am going to hook my Torque app to the head unit to pull data. Finally got around to putting my stereo system back in.

MEMPHIS m6 10in sub
memphis 750 Amp
cheapy andriod ATOTO A6 PF 7in
ebay enclosure 10in sub box

It was a real bitch to get the box in past the 7gal trunk tank. I'll be getting it all tuned and dialed today. Going to get a new turbo blanket installed for the drive up to Michigan as well.

Hope to see some of yall there!

I'm still adding PID's, but so far, the head unit is nice.

I'm not sure if my old rca is bad, but the sub wasn't getting a signal, so I ordered a new rca to install. I tested the sub output to the fa tory Subs, and it worked fine, so it must be the rca I ram about 10 years ago that are no good.

Does the head unit mirror your phone for the stereo side of things? Mine seems to be having issues charging my phone at times and I think having an Android head unit would let my run my datalogging software.

it can run andriod auto and mirror the screen. this unit has two blutooth adaptors.

blutooth1 goes to my phone for calls, texts, music, navigation.

blutooth2 is for my odbII reader.

I can still plug my phone in amd charge ir while everything else is running.

Have all the PIDs I wanted, just need to organize /fit them better.

Having an issue with the stereo sub output to my amp inputs, not getting voltage. Need to mess with it more.

I took the carout for the 4th and enjoyed the motor noises more then music haha.

Welp, got some motivation after building a buddies mid pipe on his 1997 cobra track car.

Decided to order all the pipes to build my downpipe to rear bumper exhaust. There are lots of posts soon to come. I know a lot have been waiting, so excited to get this done!

Here are some pies of the before/after of the 1997 cobra mid pipe I built. It was a lot of fun to make.

and so it begins!

I have the box of 3in stainless exhaust kit with (4) 45s, (4) 90s, (2) U bends, and (4) 40in straits.

ordered stainless 4in (4) 45s, (4) 90s, and (2) 48in straights.

I have (3) 4in vbands and (4) 3in vbands.

After some mock-up, im going to order some oval 4in pipe with a bunch of vertical pieces cuts and horizontal pieces cuts to go under the K.

I would consider adding Loudvalve cutouts.
I've been debating that. have the loud valve for the front bumper dump.

I dont have co2 just using boost pressure for wg, would just tapping my boost line to that valve be enough or is co2 needed since I have two wg, bov, and adding a LV.

They are boost activated. You can control with applied pressure or just standard vacuum/boost lines. I picked up 100hp adding cutouts to standard 3" exhaust.
yes, just curious if the onboard air or co2 was necessary for the loud valve or if the ref line was good enough. I cam see the benefits of onboard air/co2 if you have stand alone.

looks like i should be fine for my current setup.
