Took the car out to meet up with some local cobras.

Ended up racing a crusher 2.9 at 27psi on the way home. He got me twice on 50-130 races, didn't have time for a 3rd race. I'd start to catch up towards the end of 4th but we were letting off around 140.

My trans is pretty notchey going from 3-4 regardless of how I adjust the clutch. Since I lose all boost on the 3-4 shift I'm going to get a wot box (n2mb) to help hold some boost. Looking forward to getting more races in and getting the car dialed.

you think going auto would make it a different outcome?

i have the same issue with my single setup so im hoping these new twins will cure the boost loss between shifts befoer i go auto...

Got my N2MB wot box installed.

Easy install, very straight forward. I put it in the glove box so I can reprogram. I noticed when I floor it, I'm getting 4.76v singalong on the 2step and 5v on the clutch switch.

2step set to:
3800 rpm
4.6v trigger

nolift set to:
250ms
4.6v

Went out and played around. Whole different car now for wot shifting. I did a few launches but was short shifting so I bogged 2nd. pulls I had from 2-4 were smooth and alittle fireball.

Kurgan is coming into town in a couple months so I'm going to 23psi wastegate springs. This should help 2step build boost for launch and let the turbo spin as it wants, not limited by the linear slope from the EBC.

Do you have a n2mb wot box?

I'm holding boost between gears and car feels faster then ever. The nolift shift is amazing but fighting the urge to lift while shifting is hard lol.

Going over final check list before hitting the dyno in 5 days.

-Plugs swaped BR7EF gapped .016 (pictures of plugs after 1500 miles on e85 and 817whp)
-New o2 sensor
-Oil/filter changed
-Air Filter cleaned

Swapped wastegate springs to 22.8psi springs. I'm going to let the wastegates do all the work and leave the boost controller out of it this round.

Found out I have a white spring (15in/hg) in my tialQ BOV. Swapped it for the correct Yellow spring (20-21inhg).

with great power, comes sketchy situations...

had to use my press to seat the wastegates so the top didn't fly off and kill me.

spring chart for PW39mm wastegates. ran 3 springs for 22.8psi. will use boost controller if needed. we'll see what all spring does tomorrow afternoon.

man it got sketchy quick, I was trying to use vise clamps and C clamps at first. then hit my head on the press and got the idea to use in instead of killing myself from the lid flying off lol
I was using a 3 ton jack and the trailer hitch on my truck the other day for my son's wastegate. Totally forgot about my press buried in the garage.

I was texting with a friend and he said something about using a press in the past and the light bulb came on over my head.

Learned that wastegate charts are guesstimates lol. I'll be dropping spring pressure and using the boost controller to build back. I'd like to be around 24psi, but will leave the car as is to enjoy.

ended up at:
950whp 984ftlbs
27psi (expecting 23psi lol)
e85 50psi base pressure.
iat2s were 112° at 6800rpm

super stoked the car held together.

I love the build, I know this may sound stupid to some. However thank you for not hacking a hole into the side of your front bumper. The fact you kept it under the chin spoiler, not only saved the bumper, but it makes it sleeper style to me. Cars looks ****ing bad ass dude. Thanks for sharing
