I used the same pulley (69mm - 6 rib), belt, tune, dynojet and did a pull right off the street for each. Gen 3 = 888 rwhp / 723 rwtq Gen 3R = 922 rwhp / 732 rwtq The Gen 3R started pulling away at 5-5500 rpms. Here is a little detail on gains by rpm: 5500 +12 hp +12 tq +1.2lbs of boost 6000 +18 hp +16 tq +.7lbs of boost 6500 +28 hp +22 tq +1.1lbs of boost 7000 +35 hp +26 tq +1.1lbs of boost 7500 +32 hp +23 tq +1.5lbs of boost The "before" numbers already pushed my car to an 8.94 @ 153, 6 rib, upper only, stock converter at 3720lbs+.. Here is the fun part for those of us who will use these on the street: 5100 rpms = 700 rwhp 5700 rpms = 800 rwhp 6700 rpms = 900 rwhp Rwtq was over 700 from the start of each pull (4000 to 6850 where rwhp was over 910!). At wot it hits hard from the bottom and the pull gets increasingly dramatic until the shift point. Scary fun. Here is the my (conservative) combination: Aluminator (Gen 1) JLT Super Big Air (148mm) Mono blade t. body Ported lower intake by Bret Barber 69mm upper / stock lower / 6 rib Stock Gen 1 heads Stock Gen 1 cams BBK 1-3/4" longtubes 3" X pipe Oem over axles w/Dynomax Bullets welded in Kooks axle back E85 6R80 transmission/stock converter Tuned by Rob Shoemaker at Palm Beach Dyno
