Found the Mishimoto Oil Cooler for even cheaper this morning on Amazon. $290 shipped for the same kit i bought for $415 around a month ago. So going to try to return that one for this one and save even more money.

If not, ill put it for sale for $400 to recoup some money. Still happy i found it even cheaper.

Saved a bunch on the Mishimoto oil cooler.

Enough that it allowed me to look into brake kits. TCE is fabbing up a Wilwood kit for me using an 11.75" 2pcs GT casting rotor, 4 piston DSP caliper and their brackets/lines. Received my first box from Wilwood last week. Waiting on TCE for the brackets and lines. Should be unpacking everything in the next day or so to start assembly of the rotors.

Also, fixed the stupid blend door actuator again. Third times a charm! Wish Ford would find a better plastic to make them out of.

You can see the little sliver of a tooth laying in the actuator box after i opened it to see what actually broke.

You can see the tooth missing from the gear.

This little lifesaver thumbwheel wrench works insanely well to get into the location on the driver side through the lower steering shroud.

Finally got everything sorted hardware wise and started install of these.

TCE Performance brake kit to fit under 15" wheels. Uses alot of Wilwood parts and pieces with their brackets and lines. Fits absolutely perfect under the Dekagrams with room to spare.

SVT Focus caliper bracket and rotor in the rear takes it from a 10” rotor to a 10.9” rotor.

Did you already buy one? I'd imagine you're already running water wetter and a T-stat. I modded the grill for more air flow, which really only served to decrease mileage.

Water wetter but stock thermostat. Going through the replacement before a radiator seemed like a royal pain in the ass.

Car would last 17min before going into limp mode. So i could easily do a 15min session but the longer 20min sessions which i never really had to do in the past would put it over the 240F mark.

So far everyone ive seen do the grille shave has had issues. The factory grille opening isnt the issue, its the size of the radiator and the design of the oil cooler being looped through the cooling system that doesnt help. Mountune radiator is in a box along with a 160F thermostat and the Mishimoto oil cooler kit. Plan is to start this weekend on the installation of all 3.

I can’t recall if I had to remove the fan for the thermostat, or just the serp belt and alternator. Anyway, I only experienced over temp condition once - on the Nurburgring with my buddy (Formula Ford racer) driving.

Half way through the radiator replacement. Ran into the clips for the fan wiring harness/hood latch electrical connector. The little christmas tree clips with the zip tie all broke. Anyone know of a part number for them?

Radiator replaced and fan wiring harness clips replaced.

Mountune triple pass unit made by CSF. Absolutely flawless in construction and worth the money spent.

New bleed plug installed instead of trying to yank the old one.

New radiator in position.

Fan back in place.

Overall took me 2 hours or so across a week due to sickness, work, kids/school and family time. Without any disruptions I could probably swap it in an hour and a half.

Only a few weeks to go. Still need to install the oil cooler.

So far just doodling around town it barely wants to reach 180F. Ultra efficient.

New hot side pipe to intercooler silicone hose to replace the original rubber piece. Totally worn out and just crunched into position.
