Well found a deal on a C39 turbo that was rebuilt. So.........going hybrid turbo.

Also going to pick up:
ARP downpipe stud kit
Whoosh Motorsports high flow downpipe w/ catalytic converter
7psi Turbosmart IWG(turbo was missing the stock IWG)
CP-E hot side intercooler pipe w/ meth fitting

Get all this installed and get tuned on 93/e30 and see what she makes. Hoping for 250whp or more on 93. E30 should be a total animal.

Finally ordered my Whoosh Motorsports 200 cell high flow catalytic converter. Once that comes in I am set for the install and tune.

High flow cat came in! Hope to start the install in the next 2-3 weeks.

Ill grab some photos of all the parts going on tonight and post some up tomorrow. I am very excited to see what these hybrid turbocharger upgrades can do to a stock engine vehicle.

First auto-x of the year this Saturday. Going to hold off on the C39 turbo install to have some fun this weekend. Next weekend I may start to pull the car apart for the turbo install.

Times compared to other cars? Is your turbo on yet?

Times were less than stellar. Running in really hard Riken Raptor tires did not help at all. So, I upgraded this past weekend to something a bit stickier....

Falken Azenis in 205/40R17. Also picked up a set of these.

Got them shipped from Rock Auto for $74.

Autocross pics from this past weekend. Car did great! Fast time was a 47.03. All timed runs were in the 47s range except for the first run at a 49.72. Fastest Fiesta of the day but still in the top half of the indexing.

Hope to run at the next event trying some different tire pressures and maybe go back to a stage 1 tune to lessen the wheelspin. I lose time coming out of the corners due to excessive lead foot syndrome which then overcooks the next turn. This was a large course and i got faster throughout the day but need more time on a larger course to dial back on the heavy foot. Once i get that in control i think i could shave a few seconds off that time.

Either way getting out and having fun is what its all about.
