Hi guys,

Last December I crashed by 94 cobra and the insurance company decided total the car.

I had the option of keeping the car and fixing it up but decided not to since the car had 189,000 miles, the interior needed to be redone, especially the front seats, and other minor repairs.

So with the insurance and little bit extra I picked up a 1994 Cobra Pace Car with 20,000 miles.

Here are some pics:

Congrats on the Pace Car! Looks great! Own one myself with 137K miles.

Curious, who was your insurance company? To me, that doesn't look like a total for a Cobra. Though insurance companies love to profit off the "salvage value".

Thanks.

I have progressive. The problem was with the cost of matching the custom paint and redoing the graphics on the side of the car and not just repairing the damages. I had an estimate of 3k to repair the damage. All the car needed what a new front bumper cover, headlights, corner lights, hood, the two airbags, but the paint would've cost another 2k.

The Auto Insurance Auction sold it for close to 3k, and the Parts Farm sold it for 4,500.

I really like the custom paint (color) on your totaled '94 Cobra. And congratulations on finding a nice, low mileage replacement. It looks to be a really great condition.
