Hey all,

In the spring I sold the TT Cobra. I loved that car but just wanted to move on from the racecar stuff. Big thanks to Mike Post for doing a great job on that car.

After pondering what is obtainable in the 25-40k range, ( 5.0s, Scat Packs, C5/C6, Cobras, ect) I decided to search for another Cobra, with hopes of finding one with minimal mods.
After only a week or so I found this beautiful 10th Anniversary Cobra being offered for sale by the original owner. 54k miles, lowered and Bassani 3" Catback only.

I immediately jumped on it and flew to Minnesota to see the car. The car was very well taken care of, clearly always kept inside. Has ALL the original paperwork. (window sticker, SVT cert, sales papers, thank you letters, dealer brochure, and service records at the same Ford dealer for its entire life)
Very mature owner, but not a hot rod so he always took it to the dealer for everything. Including the Catback install and CC plates/springs.

We brought it to the local Ford dealer, put it on the lift. Underneath is super clean and dry.
I sealed the deal for 29k. Drove it 300+ miles home to Michigan.

Its nice to have a street Cobra again. This is my 3rd in 10 years, and I plan to keep this one and keep it stock boost. She'll last a longggg time this way, and the bang for the buck is unbeatable.
I walked a manual Shaker Scatpack a few days ago, and those cars are $50k+.

I'll be doing videos on my youtube heres my channel
20 years next year!

Congratulations! Nice find. Note though that if you would like a bit more fun behind the wheel, going with a very simple 2.90 upper pulley, 4-piece billet idler set (highly recommended you swap out the stamped steel idlers), catback and (safe) tune, your engine will last just as long as it would leaving it stock. An aftermarket billet shifter makes a big difference, too, as you know. The boost bump is not high enough to affect engine longevity and you haven't done other higher boost related mods. Just tossing it out there, because I still remember switching to the very configuration above and it made the car so much more fun to drive. And the mods were motor friendly. Either way you go, enjoy it!

Thanks Bob! Trying to hold off for now only because I did the usual mod journey about 8 years ago when I had my White 03.
stock->pullied->TVS ect.

For now just going to enjoy her as Ford intended...but we'll see how long that lasts lol.

Also.. the car had a Steeda shifter in it when I bought it. First thing I did was swap in a factory shifter. I always prefered the feel of the factory shifter, and theres alot less transmission noise with it too. I'm just weird lol

I had to get a Steeda. I hate the stock shifters in these new edges lol
