My KB 2.2 Cobra vs C5 Z06/heads/cam/exhaust

Here are 2 runs from a place we call "mexico".

My friend scott has a 0x C5 Z06 with heads, cam, exhaust, tune

I'm in my 03 Cobra vert, KB 2.2, crower blower cams, full exhaust/tune (4119lbs without me in it)(about 180lbs of stereo/dynamat)

1st run 30-140mph
(I was watching his car, and not my tach... lol ooopsy)

2nd run 40-150mph
(I let off about 3 seconds before hitting the brakes, since I saw a curve coming up a bit too quick for my taste )

No idea on #'s, but...take an LSx put some heads on it, cams, full exhaust/tune.. He traps the 1/4 in about 120-12xMPH.

My #'s are in my sig. I've made some tune adjustments since the 131mph trap speed, the car pulls much stronger now.

His car is simply badass. He's that fast, yet gets 30MPG on the highway crusing. LOL Very nice, stand up fellow.

Yeah I love his car. I'd love to own one some day. He made a pull today and turned it up to 180. I don't think my cobra would be in one piece at that speed. :shrug:

Would depend a ton on what heads and what cam..

A C5Z can trap 120mph with just bolt-ons, (stock cam). Elevation, track conditions and driver play a huge role though. A 680rwhp Cobra can trap more than 131mph too, it just depends on a lot of factors.

You both have nice cars. You guys must run at a track with bad air or something because the trap speeds are low for the power levels
