nope.... i bought it back in december..

the Aod had 3rd and OD burnt up in it.. drove it 120 miles home in 2nd gear.. Had the trans rebuilt and upgraded..

then i've spent many hours cleaning it and doing minor tweaks to it..

Looks really clean!

You need some second gen lightning rims on that thing ASAP, and new headlights! Maybe retrofit headlights!

other than the tailgate. SOON TO BE REPLACED.. the only ding is the quarter sized one on the passenger front fender... easy to pop out.. just havent yet..

no lightning rims.. gonna put some new 15" wheels on it.. just not sure which ones.. maybe just refinish the stock ones..

and new headlights are coming... smoked clear euros....

just an update to this thread....


just put together and installed a new engine mid december.. should be around 300 hp at the wheels..

5.0 Roller Block .030 overbore
Flat Top Pistons
Trick Flow Track Heat 170cc 58cc chambered heads
Comp Cam XE-264HR 35-349-8
PaceSetter Short Tube Headers
Scorpion 1.72 Roller Rockers
Ported/Gasket matched Truck intake to Heads
^soon to be GT40 or greater intake
MSD StreetFire Coil and Cap&Rotor
9mm Ford Racing Plug wires
NGK FR5 plugs
Smog and EGR Delete. so yes the codes and Check engine Light are there.. no biggie.
Stock FI, Stock Injectors, Stock Pressure regulator (soon to be having an adjustable).

other than that i think you will be good to go. love the old flaresides.

other than that i think you will be good to go. love the old flaresides.
