Part of my story didn't make the post. So Ford settled paid the owner $54995 to settle the lawsuit. The Exotic Car Dealer got a call on the car and he bought it for $37995. Dave Dempster asked if I had any of the R stuff, build certificate, et. I said I lost it all. Dave sent me a new certificate, some of the R stuff and asked me if I wanted anything signed to send it to him. I sent posters, hats, radiator cover etc and sure enough in a few weeks I got it all back signed by Dave, John Colleti and the entire 2000 R team. Later I got the intake plague signed. Dave before his retirement sent me his personall 2000 R notebook. He walked down each R as it went down the assembly line. His kindness will forever be appreciated, thanks Dave, John and the entire SVT Team, this car and your thoughtfulness will forever hold a special place in my life.
