Well, its been a couple months since I completed the swap, and I know there are probably a dozen or so of these things on here, but here it goes. I bought my GT back in '09 in Roseville, CA at 67k miles while I was stationed in Mississippi. I had my dad go and pick it up for me. I drove it back to Mississippi and it became my daily driver, then I got stationed in Florida and still drove it around. This whole time I wanted to make it as fast as it sounded, and I was also tired of losing to anything with an LSx in it, but I couldn't afford it. So while I was on my second deployment to Afghanistan, I bought a 2003 cobra, sight unseen, that had been totaled with 17k miles on it from a website called Copart. I had it delivered to a friends house where they had issues taking it off the trailer. They got it to move, and put it in my storage unit and thats where it sat until I got to it. As stock and clean as can be. . . Here's the donor car. This is why they couldn't drive it off the trailer. I dont know how you break a rotor inside the wheel, but this is the 3rd one i have seen like that. The other two were on Vettes...
