Mustang clutch cables

Do all clutch cables from 1979-2004 5 speed mustang fit? Just the cable not te quadrant.

no they dont. i know the 87-93 cables are shorter than the 94-04. however you can make them work as a temporary fix if need be. i had to use my buddys extra cable for his 88 on my 04 mach1 cause my cable broke, just had to route it a different way
