I have a loud exhaust, I want a quiet exhaust that flows great.

I seen a jeep srt8 with a vortech at the gas station today. thing was

wisper quiet with a hint of blower whine. when he left out and gas it .

barely a bark. thing was nasty.

I want the same for my car.

so what combination of resonators and axle backs will flow good but be

    quiet???

    :??:  :??:  :??:

I still have the stock axle back with no cats and stock resonators. To me it's perfect. It's noticeable at wide open throttle but not disturbingly loud. I'm going to swap out my resonators for bullets and that'll probably be it.

I wonder how much less flow the factories are. I don't really want to loose 20hp.

You don't lose anything. Axle backs are for sound and weight.

The stock axle back are quiet. I had off-road xpipe with stock axle back for a while and all you could hear was the blower. At wot you could hear the ehxaust a bit but not loud enough to draw attention. I also don't think that you will lose any power.

factory muffs are full of glass packing.
I had some thrush turbo mufflers on my fox. when I added nitrous I ballooned them , splitting the seam. the exhaust couldn't get out fast enough.
I worry of this with the factories.

Had a good laugh. How bad is the popping inside the cabin, when driving around?

What we need is a muffler in between the GT500s and the factory muffler. My Gt500s are crazy loud and the stock mufflers to quiet.

    kinda what I was thinking.
I looked at the dyno max ultra flows. but I think I would need to glass packs for resonators to bring it down some more.
