Its been a while since i did this, but here i go...
remove negative battery cable first..
take out the instrument cluster panel, its held by two torx and some clips..
i drilled the cluster panel to mount the shift light there,
(Be carefull when drilling the cluster panel, since it's plastic and thin, so you it can break pretty easily)
removed some bolts, and disconected the cluster..
The MSD Shift light cames with a bracket, it was too big, since i wanted my shiftlight between my tach and speedometer, so i used this
Now that it was in place, i bolted everything again
now use the clamp the msd shift light comes with, and put it in the middle red wire of one coil pack, doesn't matter which coil pack you chose..
Put a ground and 12v switched source, put it on 2cyl mode, set where you want your shift light to turn on, and it's done
