What type of motorsports do you like to watch/follow? I used to watch NASCAR, NHRA, Indy/Champ and F1 regularly but big corporate racing just doesn't do it for me anymore. I really despise the elimination of "the grey area" of the rule books, especially in F1 and NASCAR. The politics of F1 are unpalatable and I really miss the V8, V10 and V12 cars, hell the old moon-boosted 4 banger F1 cars are cooler than the current ones. NASCAR hasn't been interesting to me since the introduction of the COT and I'm not a fan of everyone in Indy limited to a couple of chassis options. I miss the 'run what you brung' days of racing and seem to enjoy grassroots racing more now. Desert racing really grabs my attention since the rule book allows for innovation and the 2WD vs AWD TT battle is fun to watch. I really like ole Cleetus McFarland's YouTube channel. His events at the Freedom Factory keep getting better and the participants come from all over motorsports. So what's everyone else into? (Here's a clip of my favorite F1 driver of all time, Aryton Senna, in the rain at Monaco in 1984. There are a lot of legends in this race, Prost, Senna, Mansell [crashes at 11:20], Lauda, Rosberg...) This was Senna's rookie season and he was driving a car that wouldn't have been very competitive in the dry, but the mad man Senna was an animal in the rain, and well, the rest is history.
