motor swap from a 03 to an 01 GT ..Need Help

Hey guys so I have an 01 gt vert I got kicking around that needed a motor , then a 03 gt hardtop that was hit ..so I took both cars to a friends shop he pulled 01 motor and then pulled 03 motor and start installing it ...we'll as he was going to plug in the connectors there is a connector on the pass side apron black plug on the 01 it has 4 wires ...then the plug on the 03motor has 6 wires ...4 wires are same color but then I have 2 wires leftover red/black stripe and I think a black ...the harness run to the injector harness on the motor ....any help with what I can do ? The old engine harness is gone so I cant swap it

Why do you need to switch harnesses? Just swap the motor and plug your harness in to everything , simple

If you got rid of the harness that came off your motor , well time to start looking for an 03 harness man

The 01 had a separate intake air temp sensor and the 03 has the intake air temp sensor built in to the Mass Air Flow sensor. That's all I can think of...

Did you get this figured out? I can look what the wires are when I get back home and I might even have a matching/pair of matching connectors for them if they are dissimilar. I just diced apart an 01 and an 02 harness.

yup figured it out 2 nights ago the 03 has 2 wires going to PCV valve on pass side valve cover

FWIW that 01 may have a Windsor motor instead of a Romeo, if that makes any difference.....it will when you bolt up the brackets.
