Need some help guys.
I bought a 3.4 whipple and to make room for it, we went with a tubular k member with a lower mounting ability. Fit great with a small notch for the front of the supercharger.
ISSUE: Now because the motor is lower, the whole exhaust sits about 4 to 5" from the ground now because I am running long tubes. This is a huge problem when it comes to the speed bumps but even more so because I cannot get it on an alignment machine.
Anyone ever used a lower mounting position for their motor and had this problem? Not really sure how to correct it other than going with a custom exhaust starting with shorty headers then mandrel bending so that the exhaust system sits where it needs to. Literally the system is about 2-4" lower than it should set.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
