Need some help guys.

I bought a 3.4 whipple and to make room for it, we went with a tubular k member with a lower mounting ability. Fit great with a small notch for the front of the supercharger.

ISSUE: Now because the motor is lower, the whole exhaust sits about 4 to 5" from the ground now because I am running long tubes. This is a huge problem when it comes to the speed bumps but even more so because I cannot get it on an alignment machine.

Anyone ever used a lower mounting position for their motor and had this problem? Not really sure how to correct it other than going with a custom exhaust starting with shorty headers then mandrel bending so that the exhaust system sits where it needs to. Literally the system is about 2-4" lower than it should set.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Well yeah, you changed the mounting location of the engine. The exhaust is going to move as well. How much did you lower the engine? Custom is probably going to be your best bet.

With the lower mounts and spacer, it should be about an inch. Looks like it could come up about 3. After looking at it closer today, I am thinking the best thing to do is go custom from the back of the long tubes and hope that is enough. I mostly drags at the cats which is obviously near the center of the wheelbase and the exhaust was poorly installed in my opinion. I was just making sure there isn't something I missed like a manufacturer that makes something specifically for lower motors.

Loosen the mid pipe at the cats, put a floor jack and raise it up as much as possible. The ball and socket of the headers should help raise the mid pipe for you.
