i tryied that with my painted wheels.... needless to say i had to end up getting new wheels burnt the hell out of the paint.... wont ever do that again! and i wasnt even going fast!

you cant control the speed of your drill with the ball, plus, there is no set surface area, so you will always be applying pressure to the car while spinning something on one axis really fast

Depends on which one. They do have the "Powerball for Paint".

I wouldn't waste my money on one though...

i used the power cone i have once on chrome wheels, i think i may just clean it and make it a wheel brush

used it to apply wax twice..
NO PROBLEMS.. Not effective, ALOT of slinging with a watery caranbu type wax(s).
Works good with an instant detailer, ie Mequiars or Mothers.

i used it once on my headlights with the plasticX it worked good i thought, i would never use it on the paint tho
