Sucks that we can't see his left arm.

Not sure why the cop would shoot him if both hands were up, but, there's sick people in every profession.

article said:
The sheriff said Mr. Flores had harmed an 18-month-old child and a woman, who was found inside the home with a cut on her head. The sheriff said the deputies had attempted to arrest the man, but he had resisted.

“They also used, tried to use, nonlethal weapons to try and detain him,” she said. “And after a lengthy confrontation, both deputies fired shots, causing the man’s death.”

The nonlethal methods included the use of a Taser and shield, she said.

Sorry, but I dont feel bad for yet another ****ing asshat that deserved it.

Kudos for the LEO's for two shots, two hits and downed suspect.

Science could be used to determine if his left arm was up or down. Lets find out what happened first. Some of the media even reported a neighbor as being a witness. Lets find out what happened first and whether or not the guy deserved being shot.

Once again, criminal gets hurt and now everyone's pro-crime. Resisting arrest, woman with a cut on her head (suspected assault) and possibly harming a child too.

What the hell people. Wake the **** up. At least wait until all the evidence, etc comes out to start a protest and burn businesses to the ground.

Once again, criminal gets hurt and know everyone's pro-crime. Resisting arrest, woman with a cut on her head (suspected assault) and possibly harming a child too.

What the hell people. What the **** up

Shut up, nobody's pro-crime. We all should be pro-process. As of now this doesn't look good but we should wait til more info is available.

That's exactly what I'm saying. Take 2 seconds to read and comprehend before commenting next time

^ svt never disappoints.

While what he did to his family is ****ed up, that does not excuse getting shot by the cops if both his hands were up/not a threat to them. If it turns out his left hand was fumbling around in his pocket, and the cops hard reason to suspect he had a weapon in that pocket, then sure, the shooting was justified.

Saves us taxpayers the cost of a lengthy trial.

Which trial?

What if his family turns around and sues the police department for killing their abusive spouse and there's proof he wasn't posing a threat to the officers?

That's not what you said. Point out who has posted saying they're pro-crime.

....really!!?!

That's EXACTLY what I stated. Let me make this easy for you...

"Once again, criminal gets hurt and now everyone's pro-crime. Resisting arrest, woman with a cut on her head (suspected assault) and possibly harming a child too.

What the hell people. Wake the **** up. At least wait until all the evidence, etc comes out to start a protest and burn businesses to the ground."

Nowadays people see a shooting with police involved and automatically believe there was some foul play, bad cop(s), etc. If you can't see that you're blind. It's been on every news outlet for more than a year now. Daily! The point is that people see these things, assume the cops were just shooting to shoot and that this guy wasn't a direct harm to them. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. That's the point OF WAITING UNTIL ALL THE EVIDENCE IS RELEASED (see last statement). The fact that police were called out for a dom. dispute where he supposedly cut a woman (word is that he possibly harmed a child, but that's possibly just more bs being spewed by media..all of this is until the facts come out to the courts/etc), he supposedly resisted arrest for 20+ minutes, etc. So many people are quick to jump the gun and assume assume assume today. Everyone wants fair treatment, but if you act like a criminal, charge a police officer, etc etc then the probability of something happening is a lot more likely due to what you've done.

Definitely doesn't warranty the shooting if he had his hands up and was not resisting. The question remains is what happened for those 20 minutes? Did they suspect he had a weapon other than his knife? Did he threaten or say something to the officer(s) about coming after them (still doesn't warrant shoots fired, but you get the point)?

Instead of letting things play out in court, etc....we'll end up with more SPECULATION that leads protests, violence, looting, arson, etc etc. If that guy was not doing any harm, resisting arrest, etc then the probability and/or likelihood of this happening is orders of magnitude smaller than how it played out.

Without seeing his other hand it's impossible to say what happened. It doesn't look good though. That video is too far away to know if he flinched, moved, disobeyed orders, said something, etc. There isn't enough evidence out yet to form an opinion.
