To be fair I'm out of town so I've only played about an hour so far but I love it. Way better than anything they've released in the last several years. Much more realistic. I really think it comes down to play styles. I havent even been able to get into any battlefield games. I admit they are great games, and probably a better game as far as shooting goes than call of duty but the maps are too big, game play is too slow for me. I prefer the fast paced run and gun that is call of duty. Seems like battlefield I spend 60% of the time running from spawn back to the action just to get killed again. I'm also much better at call of duty. Near the top of the game score wise vs battlefield near the bottom. Modern warfare has went back to their roots with the game vs the jumping on walls made up guns that the last games have been plagued by. This is the first call of duty I've purchased in a few years. Bottom line I think it comes down to the play style you prefer, battlefield is great in it's own way and so is modern warfare.
