Mixing race fuel question

Would mixing some race fuel in with 93 benefit me any at the track? I thought that the extra octane might allow the computer to give more timing even though there is no knock sensor. Also how long would it take to damage the o2 sensors. Just wanted to pick up a little e/t and mph. Thanks.

We did it to my brothers car this weekend...he had about 1/8th tank of 93 and added 3 gal of race fuel to it. He ran his best et that weekend at 11.68. He had also added an offroad x pipe too, but thecar ran well, it was his 1st time doing it so don't know what long term affects could be.
