there are tons of dudes with lots more miles than 40k and there doing well. as long as the car is not abused and is modded within reason with any needed supporting mods

That's really not many miles for a four year old car, regardless of model. I daily drive mine but with a 20 mile roundtrip commute, I'm just now over 16K, but most '03's should be in the 30-45,000 range if they're driven any distance at all. Good luck.

I've got 48,000 on mine, and it's been running 445rwhp since it had 1500 miles on it. Daily driver. Two years of regular autocrossing. Several open track events. Multiple trips to the drag strip. Never had to do anything but replace tires, brake pads, and clutches.

My motor went out at 30000, new motor has 7000 on it now.
I don't think anything was wrong with my motor. the ford dealership were I live is a piece of crap. but hey I'll take it.

65,000 miles

#7 piston is ticking due to heavy mods and hard racing.

I purchased the car 2 years ago for 22,500 with 17,000 miles on it and no mods.

If the car has not had mods (pullied) then I would not sweat it.

It priced a bit high.

Trade in on the car is around 19,000.

A dealership would knock off another 3000 for having mods.

I would not get near it if its been or is pullied

I wouldn't worry about the miles..Due a compression check and go from there...If these vehicles are done right and you know exactly whats done to them then your OK...
